REWARDS FAQ
How do rewards work?
$HOTDOG rewards come from trading fees. The original $HOTDOG/COST liquidity pool holds both tokens so people can swap one for the other. Trades in this pool pay a 1% fee. Pons, the platform where $HOTDOG launched, keeps 30% of that fee and 70% goes into a shared pot for holder rewards.
Trading volume means the total value bought and sold. For every $100 traded in that pool, about $0.70 goes into the shared pot before the costs of exchanging and moving tokens. That is 0.7% of this pool's trading volume for holders together, not $0.70 for each wallet.
Pons distributes the pot in batches called rounds. For wallets included in a round, rewards are split in proportion to the $HOTDOG holdings Pons counts. A larger share of those holdings gets a larger share of that round's rewards.
Pons sends the payments straight to the included wallets, mainly in COST, a crypto token linked to Costco stock. The reward is tokens in your wallet, not a cash deposit. No claim button or locked-up $HOTDOG is needed. Not every holder is included in every round, and there is no fixed daily payment.
I hold $HOTDOG. Why haven't I received anything?
Pons sends each batch of rewards using a list of wallet addresses and amounts. Your wallet needs an amount on that list before there is a payment waiting.
Small reward shares may be left out. If the check has finished and both Received and Pending are zero, it found no past payments or listed unpaid reward for that address. Check that you entered the address holding your $HOTDOG. The checker does not show Pons' exact reason for leaving a wallet out.
Is there a minimum payout?
The smallest payouts in recent rounds have been about 0.0016 COST. This describes the amount being paid, not COST you must already own or $HOTDOG you must buy.
Example only: if one COST were worth $1,000, a 0.0016 COST payment would be worth $1.60. The dollar value changes with COST's price.
Earlier rounds paid smaller amounts. The payment contract, the code that transfers rewards to wallets, does not enforce this minimum, so 0.0016 COST is not a permanent rule.
How much $HOTDOG do I need to hold?
Your possible reward depends on the $HOTDOG amount Pons counts for your wallet and the fees available for that payment round. It is based on tokens held, not the dollars you spent buying them.
With the same reward pot, a bigger share of the counted $HOTDOG gives a bigger possible reward. Pons still has to include your wallet in the payment list.
The 0.0016 COST figure is a reward amount, not an amount of $HOTDOG to buy. There is no guaranteed 'buy this much, get paid' amount.
How much could I receive?
When your wallet is included, its payment comes from the trading fees set aside for that round, or batch of rewards. Pons bases your share on the $HOTDOG holdings it counts.
Example only: if Pons includes your wallet in a round distributing $1,000 worth of COST and gives it a 1% share, that payment is $10 worth of COST. A 1% share means one part out of 100.
More fees mean more available to share. A bigger counted holding can mean a bigger share. This example is not a daily rate or a prediction of what your wallet will receive.
Do small rewards build up for later?
An amount becomes Pending when Pons has listed it for your wallet but has not sent it yet. Pending is that unpaid amount, not an estimate of everything your $HOTDOG might earn.
A round that leaves your wallet out is different from a listed payment waiting to be sent. Do not assume small, unlisted amounts are saved until they reach the payment minimum. Skipped amounts are not guaranteed to build up and pay later.
When do payments arrive?
Pons pays groups of wallets in batches called rounds. It first lists the wallets and amounts, then its automated service sends the tokens. Buying $HOTDOG does not trigger an immediate payment.
A listed payment appears as Pending until it is sent, then counts as Received. There is no fixed daily payday. Refreshing this page or leaving it open does not make Pons pay sooner.
Do I need to claim or lock up my $HOTDOG?
Automatic payments go straight to the wallet Pons includes. You do not need to press a claim button to collect them or stake your $HOTDOG. Staking usually means locking tokens into a service to take part in its rewards.
This page only checks public payment records. It does not connect to your wallet or ask you to approve a transaction. You can close the page without stopping Pons from sending a listed payment.
What do Received, Pending and Loading mean?
Received is the total Pons has already sent to your wallet. If you received 1 COST and later moved it elsewhere, Received still includes that 1 COST. It is a payment history, not your current balance.
Pending is an amount Pons has assigned to your wallet but not sent yet. For example, $2 Pending means about $2 worth of COST at today's price, not $2 every day.
Loading means the check is still running, not that your rewards are zero. Dollar amounts use today's COST price, so the dollar total can change even if the number of COST tokens stays the same.
How do I check? Does it cost anything?
Copy the public address from the wallet holding your $HOTDOG on Robinhood Chain, the network used by $HOTDOG. It is a long code starting with 0x, not your username or email.
Paste it here, tap ADD, then CHECK REWARDS. You can add more than one address to check them together. Wait for Loading to finish before reading the result.
Checking is free and only needs the public address. No wallet connection or transaction approval is needed. Never share your wallet password or secret recovery words.
